After Endodontic Treatment

printer Print Page

Endodontic treatment has now been completed. The root canal system has been permanently sealed. However, the outer surface is sealed with a temporary restoration. A follow-up restoration must be placed to protect your tooth against fracture and decay. Our staff will be happy to help schedule your appointment with your general dentist. A complete report of treatment will be sent to your general dentist.

It is very important that you have your tooth permanently restored WITHIN 30 DAYS otherwise your risk treatment failure or possibly losing this tooth despite the root canal therapy that we performed! Failure of the root canal treatment in this situation will require the tooth to be retreated at the patient’s cost.
